Hey guys,
So I'm finally getting around to sharing my Universal Studios blog post. It was such an incredible trip and we made so many fab memories! It was so special to visit this time of year with all the Christmas decorations lighting up the parks, the holiday parade featuring the Macy's New York balloons and of course, meeting Mr.Grinch himself :) Just magic!
Here is just some information answering the questions you guys had on the travel, accommodation and park access:
Norwegian operates year round direct from London Gatwick to Orlando. (Flight time is roughly 9 hours 50 minutes).
All flights are operated by a fleet of brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with two cabins – Premium and economy.
Fares start from £155 one-way and £275 return in economy, and £519 one-way and £959 return in Premium including all taxes and charges.
When booking with Norwegian economy your fare just includes the flight price and then you can purchase add on's. The £50 each way add on will get you a 20kg bag, X2 meals with wine or beer as well as in flight entertainment. You can also purchase individual add on's for £25 each but it definitely works out cheaper to buy the £50 each way bundle.
Travelling premium will give you a super spacious and comfortable reclining seat, wine, beer and cocktails throughout the flight, in flight entertainment, two pieces of checked luggage at 20kg each , fast track security and access to select airport lounges/

During our trip, we stayed at the brand new Aventura Hotel which was so fab! The rooms were super spacious with an amazing view and they also had a Starbucks Cafe in the lobby. A seven night stay at Universal’s Aventura Hotel is from £414 per adult and £404 per child, based on two adults and two children sharing a standard queen room. The price includes Universal 3-park Explorer Tickets for 14 days with unlimited access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park. If you stay on-site at any of the Universal Orlando’s hotels, you'll receive early park Admission and complimentary transportation around the resort. To book visit www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk or for more information on Universal Orlando Resort visit www.universalorlando.co.uk.
During your trip be sure to have a Krusty burger and a lard lad doughnut in Springfield, a freak-shake at the Chocolate Emporium, sushi and burgers at CowFish, and best of all, pencil in a karaoke night at the Rising Star bar, it's SO much fun :).
Happy travels guys!
