HAPPY NEW YEAR :) I hope you all had a magical few weeks. I can't believe it's all over for another year. It always makes me a little sad when it comes to an end but January is also a great month to start fresh and make new plans for the year. It's an extra special month for me as my blog turns another year older and this year I am celebrating 5 wonderful years in the blogging world. It's a little crazy to think it's been 5 years already, the time has absolutely flown by but I've enjoyed every single minute of it.
This year, we rang in 2018 at the beautiful Brehon Hotel. Myself and John adore Killarney so I couldn't think of a more perfect place to spend the weekend. We checked in on the 31st and we were greeted with a delicious afternoon tea. That evening we dined at the beautiful Danú restaurant within the hotel and enjoyed a delicious 5 course NYE meal with some bubbles. Come 11pm we headed into the town centre for some cocktails at JM Reidy's which is just a 5 minute taxi journey away. We had the best night!
New Years day kicked off with the most epic buffet breakfast followed by a long walk on Rossbeigh beach. We were back in our beautiful suite by 5pm and chilled for the whole night watching movies and ordering room service. Total bliss and the perfect way to spend New Years Day. I seriously did not want to check out this morning. Such a lovely few days in my favourite town. It's good to be back in Dublin now. We arrived back this evening and I unpacked right away & just relaxed for the rest of the evening. My sister is here with me for a few days which will be so nice. We're watching Big Momma's House now on Netflix :) A classic!
