Hope you're all having a great week so far. I know after a bank holiday it's always a little tougher to get back to normality but hey, it's already Thursday :)
Speaking of the bank holiday, I wanted to share with you some snaps of our weekend in The Brehon hotel Killarney. We spent 3 nights here right after I landed back from the Seychelles and it was the perfect way to end my trip. Myself and John were 11 years together while I was away so it was such a lovely treat to head to Kerry for the long weekend and completely relax in the stunning surrounds of The Brehon hotel.
The hotel is right in the heart of Killarney so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. A relaxing afternoon spent in the gorgeous Angsna spa followed by a delicious meal in the Dan√∫ restaurant, topped off with a few drinks at the hotel bar or a night on the tiles in Killarney town centre.
During our stay I was lucky enough to be treated to a fabulous blow dry in Pat O'Neil's salon, located on the first floor of the hotel, & 90 minute Thai massage in the Angsana spa which was amazing. I've never felt so relaxed! Especially when you can unwind in the gorgeous vitality suite before and after your treatment. It's a little corner of heaven on Earth. You really do feel a million miles away.
The hotel food is absolutely top notch! Throughout the weekend we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner each day and every meal was scrumptious. I can honestly say, hands down, it was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! With such an amazing buffet selection, I completely indulged. With a delicious fry up every morning, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries, even a pancake machine! It was to die for. Every night myself and John would go to bed excited for breakfast the next morning. Haha :)
For more information on The Brehon hotel, check out the website here. I could not recommend the hotel enough for a little Irish staycation, or vacation if you're coming from abroad. The rooms, the staff, the food, the atmosphere, the location, everything was wonderful. Treat yourself ;)
