TOY STORY LAND AT WALT DISNEY WORLD ORLANDO

Hey guys,

I hope you're all doing amazing and enjoying this crazy gorgeous sunshine we've been blessed with the past week. I've been hearing how beautiful it is in Ireland, (and in Amsterdam), so it's making it a lot easier returning home from Orlando.

We've had the BEST week in Florida and I'm so sad it's all over. The press group I travelled with were absolutely incredible and I've never laughed as much as I have done this week. I'm sure I have abs from all the giggles :) Our trip kick started in the Virgin Holidays lounge at Gatwick Airport. The girls and I were treated to mini facials and cocktails ahead of our flight which was such a dream! Feeling fresh and relaxed as we boarded the flight and as always, it was completely smooth sailing. The Virgin team are always so friendly and welcoming onboard and it's always such a pleasure to travel with them. On the return flight home I was lucky enough to be upgraded to upper class which really is such a treat! I've never felt so refreshed getting off a flight in my life :) Thank you to Virgin Holidays for another top class journey!

So, as some of you know from my Instagram, we were super lucky to be invited over for the grand opening of the brand new Toy Story Land. The day before the park officially opened, we had a sneak preview of the insanely beautiful park and hit up all the attractions. My fav was the Slinky Dog Dash. It's such a fun outdoor ride with really cool views of the park. Especially at night when it's all lit up, it's definitely something special. The idea around Toy Story land is that it gives the illusion of Andy's back yard. The attention to detail is incredible. The colours, lights, building blocks design, everything down to the restrooms are toy themed and full of colour. There are 2 other main attractions in the park, aside from Slinky Dog Dash, which include Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania. Both of which are super fun and definitely worth a visit. On the morning of the opening, all the press gathered for the official ribbon cutting by none other than Buzz Lightyear himself, Tim Allen! He was there to chat all things Toy Story and officially launch the park. It was such an amazing surprise! If any of you guys are visiting Walt Disney World Orlando or planning a trip for the near future, make sure to pay a visit to Toy Story land and relive the childhood dream. It's such a magical addition to Hollywood Studio's that won't disappoint.

Throughout the week we also visited the other main parks and attractions including Animal Kingdom, (where we were staying), Magic Kingdom and, for the first time, I experienced Disney's water park, Typhoon Lagoon. This was one of my favourite days soaking up the sun, enjoying a frozen cocktail and relaxing on a float through the lazy river. You can also rent private beach style cabana's which are the perfect way to chill in style. A little slice of heaven on earth.

Toy Story land has now officially opened and you can find out all the info you need right here. If you visit, please let me know your thoughts and your favourite attraction.

Happy travels toys :)

Lauren.

Thank you so much to Disney and Virgin Holidays for inviting me this incredible Press trip.
