Dubai Brunch

Dubai is famous for it's absolutely lavish weekly brunches and tourists travel from all over to experience this day full of indulgence, including myself and John. Brunch was one of the most recommended things to do in Dubai so naturally it went to the top of my list. When it comes to deciding which brunch you would like to do, the list is endless! Honestly, that will be the toughest decision as every single restaurant, hotel and pool bar will be putting on a show, all equally as amazing as each other. It just depends on the type of afternoon you would prefer. Hotel brunches are the most popular with Atlantis The Palm being the most well known. The theme of this style of brunch is much more dressed up and a big party/celebration style day where you can go all out. I wanted more of a relaxing day to enjoy some sun shine so we opted for a beach style brunch. A lot more casual but equally as fun. With Dubai brunches, the general agenda for the day is that you pay a fee to enter your desired brunch location, which usually costs between 70-90 euro, and includes unlimited food and drink all day long. As much of every type of food and drink you could ever imagine! The hotel style brunches would have a huge display of food whereas our pool day consisted of an unlimited BBQ and lots of dessert treats and cocktails, of course.

We booked Zero Gravity beach club which is a really funky spot in Dubai. Friday's and Saturday's are their brunch days. This is why entry is cheaper and all food and drink is included. This is not the way offer during the week. We opted for a Friday & the entry fee for women was a little cheaper than men. Mine was roughly €65 converted and John's entry was €75. This included our towels, 2 beds on the beach (you can also sit by the pool but we prefer the beach) and unlimited bbq buffet, desserts, beer, wine and cocktails. It's honestly such an amazing day with seriously great music and and as many burgers and daiquiri's as your heart desires. It was definitely one of my favourite days of our trip!

Location: Zero Gravity is located in Dubai Marina, Skydive Dubai Drop Zone, Al Sufouh Road. Most likely you will need to get a taxi here as it is located off a main road, unless you are staying on the JBR and enjoy a beach walk, you can access ZG via the beach. We used the uber taxi app for the entire trip and found taxi's to be very reasonably priced.

Price: $$$$$

Considering the amount of food & drink on offer, on top of your lounge beds, towels and epic music playing all day by house Dj's, I think it's fantastic value. However, it's important to note the day of the week you visit! As mentioned above, Friday's and Saturday's are the only brunch days where all food and drink are included.

Eat & Drink: As above, an unlimited bbq buffet is offered including burgers, chicken, salads, fries, vegetables, lasagne, pasta etc. There is also a dessert buffet with cupcakes, ice cream, sweets and popcorn. There are about 5 bars serving different drinks from beer to gin, cocktails to champagne.

Overall Rating: 5/5

The quality of service was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was great, the cocktails were amazing and the sun loungers were very comfortable and luxurious.
